Empower Cherokee has updated the Guidelines for Reopening after COVID-19. The highlighted changes are as follows.
No one other than participants and staff will be permitted to enter the building without permission from the Executive Director or designee during this initial phase of reopening.
If you are feeling under the weather while at Empower Cherokee you should isolate and follow the procedure in the bullet above.
What this means is no staff or participant should be in attendance at Empower Cherokee with any illness until they speak to their supervisor (staff) or program manager (participants).
The reason behind this change is we are experiencing situations where people think they have an illness such as cold, strep, sinus infection, bronchitis, or other such illness and it turns out to be COVID-19.
